Welcome to the World Madison Kay McIntosh
A very special thank you to all the wonderful family and friends (and friends of friends) who visited this site to write beautiful words of encouragement and make financial contributions to Krista’s fight to beat cancer. Recently Krista had her last chemo treatment, which was a huge relief for her. She will have a PET scan at the end of October with results due the first week of November. The journey continues for Krista and your support is an important part of her path to a long and healthy life.
Krista is now the proud mother of beautiful Madison Kay McInstosh who was born on July 8th weighing in at a hefty 6 lbs. It was a long and hard labor delivering a month early, but Krista was up for the challenge and loves every second of being Maddie’s mom.
Madison doesn’t know it yet, but she has one of the bravest and most special moms in the whole world, who did everything she could possibly do to protect her daughter while she went through cancer treatment.
You are invited to continue using this site to send Krista your positive thoughts and make financial contributions as she continues her fight. Cancer ain’t cheap…

Krista, I look at your picture and you remind me so very much of your mother! It has been years since I have seen her! I am absolutely convinced that, by the grace of God, that you and your beautiful daughter will both soon be strong and healthy. I am going to spread the word around for you and try to get you some help with the financing so that you can focus on the healing power of God, the father, the creator of all things, on earth and in Heaven.
My prayer are going up to HIM already so start feeling the warmth of healing that God is just now placing inside you!!! Aunt Joyce
Joyce, Thank you! I appreciate that very much:)
You are in my prayers
I have thought of you often and your family (which will always be a part of my family) has been and always will be in my prayers. I know of at least two precious angels that will always be there for you… just ask them. Love you always, Aunt Mary.
P.S. Danika is sending you a gift certificate from the two of us for the baby.
Mary- Thank you so much! Love you too:)
You will always be that sweet wonderful baby girl who brought our family together and who I can’t seem to think of you as a grown women.I see you but to me you will always be my precious baby niece and no matter how old you are those eyes will always touch my soul. You are a light that God brought into this world that will never go out. And Madison Kay will be the same. You are so loved by everyone as you obviously know. But remember that god will never give you more than you can handle. I know at times you will feel like you can’t go on or don’t want to but you will for your babe and those times esp. you will never be alone. I would give anything to take your pain away if I could. You are very strong and at times you won’t believe that but we all know.I love you Krista Kay and you are in my heart and prayers always, love aunt Rhonda
Thank you Rhonda! I Love you too:)

Melinda and Darrin Burgess

Thank you Ryan! I love you too:)
“Tough times never last, but tough people do”. You’re one of the toughest & strongest people I know. You’re gonna kick cancer’s ass!
Madison is going to know her Mommy fought this fight for her, and she’s going to grow up to know the sweet, funny, thoughtful, and generous person that I am blessed to call a friend. Love to you pieces Krista! XOXO
Thank you Holly, I love you too:)
A little over a year ago I met you at Holly’s bachelortte party. That night you treated me as a friend, not just your friend’s sister-in-law. From that night on youhave been one of my “Tampa Girls”. I adore you and pray for you. Having worked with oncology patients, I have seen several who were like you and diagnosed during pregnancy, and did great. Miracles happen! Look at me, I’m the product of two people who weren’t supposed to survive infancy. I believe in you my friend. You will make it and so will your daughter. And when you need us, we will be here for both of you!
All my love and prayers,
Heather
Thank you very much Heather!
Hi Krista – We met you years ago and have heard about your fight through Sarah. Just wanted to send you some strong, positive thoughts. Once you’ve beaten this thing and it’s all behind you, maybe we can grab Sarah and head over to a park in Dunedin with the kids…keep fighting!!
Niki & James
Hi Niki! Thank you so much:)
Hi Krista,
I’ve known your brother for a really long time. I heard your story and he’s a pretty convincing brother. I can relate with my sister finding out her battle for MS right after my niece was born. I wish for you to have an easy fight, fast recovery, and a long happy life ahead! Anything I can do to help…I will continue to spead the message of your struggle. You have a pretty amazing brother by your side, Im sure he’ll do whatever it takes for you to get better fast. Have a relaxing holiday!
Hi baby girl,it is aunt Rhonda again to bug you. You have bore a beautiful daughter and you have a whole family out there pulling for you ,not just your family ,family but friends and loved ones who are all your family. Lean on them and lean on God Krista. You get your strength from your mother and when you had Madison no matter how hard it was you did it and shes healthy and happy . Just like you were as a baby. You can get thru this so never doubt your strength . It is amazing as you know the strength God gives you when you need it. I am so proud of you because your mom says you have a good attitude and that makes you a fighter. So hang in there and lean on those around you when you need to. I wish I could be there for you but I am here.I love you, aunt Rhonda
Hi Krista, I never got the opportunity to meet you or take care of you while you were a patient in Labor & Delivery…I was either off or working at the front desk…Although, I did have the pleasure of hearing about how close and loving you, Bobby and your mom are…all of the nurses really enjoyed taking care of you and said you were beautiful, inspiring and a beam of sunlight. After recently spending quality time with your brother; I have to say he is one special guy and an awesome brother from what I have been told. Bobby is a caring, helpful, kind hearted guy…a personality trait that is hard to come by in a man…I’m sure you are just the same…I bet your precious babygirl brings you so much joy and happiness…that it almost seems as nothing else matters. I worked in L&D at Mease Countryside for 7 years and I recently transfered to St. Anthony’s working in PACU, which is post op anesthesia care that a lot of the time deals with corrections to make severe illness’s better or obselete…if I can brighten one person’s day…that makes me feel really good…Maybe sometime we will meet…until then Keep your head up, stay strong and know that you can overcome anything…Words cannot describe the love between a mother and her baby…its just a beautiful thing…god’s gift from heaven…Take care, Hugs. Shannon
Thank you Shannon, that was very sweet of you:)
